Happy Thanksgiving! Babies 40 and 41!

"Smile for the picture!" Bridget beamed with delight, snapping several pictures. "I'm so happy for you!" She squealed. Matthew returned to his designated area, waiting for the wedding to begin. "You're getting married!" She screamed in an overly enthusiastic tone. "I know!" I giggled back.
She left me, and I was cued to go on. I took a deep breath and stood on the small carpet path leading to the rest of my eternity. My smile loosened as I looked into Matts eyes. I've waited so long for this. I take my steps slowly, and notice nobodys in the lawn chairs that were placed. I push my thoughts forward. Looking towards my mother and Bridget, both smiling brightly.
I take my final step, that decides my entire fate. Then I stand and stare at my true love, a true love at first sight. I take his hands, warm, comfortable. He proceeds to tell me everything he loves about me, how we'll never be separated, how it'll be okay, that we will never part, through sickness and through health.
The split second, the millisecond, the blink of an eye after he tries to slip the ring on my finger, saying the two simple words 'I do'. The entire place bursts into flames. Him, Bridget, and my mother all fall to the ground.
Leaving me to twirl in confusement.

I fell to my knees. Matt looked pathetic. He managed to push out a mumble, two simple words. "It'll be okay." But it wouldn't be. His head hit the ground slowly. A simple reminder that a perfect life couldn't happen.
My mother, doused in blood lay on the ground motionless. I stood up and spun around trying to make sense of the world. Nobody else seemed to notice.
Bridget lie in the same state. Fear painted in her two vibrant eyes. "Bridget!" I called out. I fell to my knees again. "Mom!" The tears start. "Matt!" I'm alone. There's nobody left for me in the world.
I walk straight into the flames, but feel no pain. I touch them, I take a deep breath. I can't die. My simple wish can't be complete, but it wouldn't be the first time, nor the last. I run through the flames desparately trying for an escape when a soft sound catches my ear. "Mommy." It whispers. "Mommy!" It says a little louder. "Mom!?"
The scene disappears in a sudden blur. I wake in a familiar room, scared stiff. "Hi jon, waddya need?" I barely whisper. "When's lunch?" He whines. "Ask your grandma, or Dani, or get some soup." I tell him. "Okay." And with that he skips out of the room. I inch my way out of bed and make a b-line to the bathroom.
I stare at myself in the mirror. "It was only a dream, only a dream. Just a simple dream." I repeat over and over again. I rinse my face off and get dressed, pushing my mind forward.
I make my way to the nursery and pick up Megan. I snuggle her tightly then make a decision. They've been babies for a week now, and I'm having Thanksgiving at my house so I decided I might as well age them up.
I take Megan to her cake, and Gracie to hers. I help them both blow out their candles and set them gently on the floor. It takes a few minutes for the sparkles to do their magic, but then suddenly I'm staring at two little toddlers.
I believe they both took on to Norms facial shape. I know they both have my eyes, and I think my nose. They're almost exactly identical too. Gracie is the one who demands anything and everything to be pink.
Megan is the silent one who follows behind in Gracies footsteps. She's also the sweeter of the two.
Monkey see Monkey do. Is the perfect motto for these two. Too bad Monkey gets in trouble too.
Dani came home in a sour mood. She wasn't exactly fitting in here, they called her 'elf' at school, and told her to get back to the north pole, even though she was already 6 feet. Plus, I had found out about her little horse friend and told her she couldn't go and see it all the time, I didn't want her to get hurt. I let her go see the horse and I told her once she moved out she could keep it but until then I didn't want to hear about it.
"What's the matter?" I asked breaking the silence as she muttered earasing an entire paragraph.
"Nothing much." She replied, then she stomped up the steps.
I shrugged her off, must've been a bad day at school or something. I finished making dinner, and we all dispersed and ate. Afterwards I gave the twins a bath and put them to bed. In the morning I woke up from the exact same nightmare, only more people were in the chairs. People like Un, and my close friends, and Diana and Sarah. I got my mind off of it again and went into the nursery to wake the girls.
Dani was already in there teaching Gracie how to talk. "Well thank you!" I said reaching into Megans crib. "No problem." she replied then drew her attention back to Gracie.
I followed in Danis footsteps and started to teach Megan how to talk. It took no time at all. By the time I was done I couldn't get her to be quiet! I think I'll be feeling some regret soon.
Then I taught her how to walk. It took about two minutes before she started to toddle around.
It seemed as though Gracie knew exactly what to do. She was on her feet in less than thirty seconds and was completely walking within a half an hour. Dani then looked at me. "Can Jon and I age up then?" She asked her eyes glistening. "Yeah, you guys can age up." I replied with a smile. Dani put Gracie down and ran downstairs.
Before I made my way downstairs Dani had already blown out her candles, and was waiting for adulthood to take over her. "You work fast." I told her as I stepped off the last step. She laughed.
Jon was downstairs almost instantly. He ran to his cake and without thinking he blew all of his candles out.
Dani came up to me and gave me a great big hug. "Thanks for everything" She said into my shoulder. "No problem honey." I told her. She grabbed her things and left for a new life.
The next few days were filled with cleaning, doctor appointments, and a lot of cooking. The cleaning was for the guests, the doctor appointments were for Jon, who happened to be slightly bipolar and had bad thoughts about himself, and the cooking was because Thanksgiving dinner was drawing near.
Then the day finally came. The doorbell rang and there was quite a large crowd outside. I ran from my pie adn answered the door.
Bridget, a little girl.., Fredward, Diana, Spencer, and Sarah were all there. I welcomed them all in and then singled out Bridget.
"Who's that?" I asked pointing to the miniature Bridget on her shoulder. "Oh well, uh, you know how I said I had a still born?" She asked. "Uh yeah how could I forget." I replied. "Well uh, I lied because I thought that would make you come back to Sunset Valley, but then you didn't, and well, this is Bethany Ella!!! Yay!" She said. "Sometimes Bridget you freak me out, but, I guess that's why we're better friends." I said and I pulled her into a hug. "You're not mad that I lied?" She asked. "No, I'm glad that your both fine!" I replied.
All the women went and sat down at the table and talked, the guys went to watch football. I returned to the kitchen and started to stuff the turkey. The oven dinged and my key lime pie was done.
I also made cookies, for an after snack, and popcorn, and my very own icecream.
I made salad for Sarah too since she's a vegetarian, and then I set the table. "Foods ready!" I announced setting the salad on the end of the table and everybody rushed in to eat.
It didn't take long for everybody to get their turkey and potatoes and corn, and sit down to eat. Lunch was devoured in less than an hour and everybody was demanding dessert. "Hold on Hold on!" I said chewing my last piece of meat.
"Before we eat lets all name something or some things we're thankful for!" I said. "Alright I'll start." Bridget said. "I am thankful for a new house close to my best friend, a healthy family, and an extremely lovely dinner."
"Hmm, I am thankful for Iqbal being an amazing husband, even though he couldn't make it today, and I am thankful that gas prices are going down!" Sarah said happily.
"Hmm, I am thankful for my job, and for seeing my baby sister find her true love. I can't wait for the wedding!" Diana said then she looked at me. I managed a small smile.
"I am thankful for cars, for food, for religion, for health, and for money." Fredward said in a monotone voice.
"I am thankful for a wonderful wife, two beautiful children, and for Gabe who has officially made it to college!" Everybody clapped for Gabe when Spencer was finished speaking.
Jon was having another mood swing, "Hm, I'm thankful for, uh, two very happy siblings who are very cute." He said. Then motioned for another person to go.
My mom, who was in a very good mood today started to speak. "I am thankful for the three most wonderful girls in the world, I am also thankful for a nice warm place to rest my head, and I am thankful I get to see my grandchildren grow up before me." She said in a very happy tone.
"Alright Cait!" Bridget said smiling. "I am thankful for so much in my life. I guess I'll start with my family, and my mom is finally accepting me, and for having 39 of the most wonderful kids in the world. I am also thankful that I am almost halfway there!" I said. Everybody clapped. "Alright now lets eat!"
Everybody dug into my famous homemade key lime pie. "This is delicious!" Fredward said shoving another forkful of food into his mouth. "It is!" Spencer added.
"What's your recipe?" Bridget asked. "Its a secret!" I said over the other conversations.
"Well thats rude!" Bridget said laughing. "I know. I try."
When everyone was done with their pie they went and watched football. I ran upstairs to change then came back down to help Bridget with the dishes. "Hey, can we talk." I whispered in her ear. "Uh, yeah sure?"
"What's up Caity Cait?"She asked. "I've been having nightmares." I told her, then told myself it sounded totally childish." "Of what hun?" Bridget asked being tottaly understanding. "Of, well, you were in it, so was my mom, and Matt was too.." I started. "Okay, then what happened?"
"It was my wedding! It seemed so real! I had Matt's moms' wedding dress on, my colors were white and this light pastel pinkish, and I walked down the aisle, and Matt said his vows just like I imagined Matt would, and he said everything would be okay, because everybody tells me that and then something freakish and horrible happens and then in front of my eyes as he slipped the ring on my finger the entire place burst into flames and you all fell, I've had this nightmare four times now and everytime it adds another person I know and love! Why!?" I almost shout.
"It's all in your mind honey. He left and the last time he did he got seriously injured. Its only your mind playing tricks because you miss him." She said. "Then why were you and my mom in it?" I ask. This seems to puzzle Bridget for a moment. "I have no idea. But look at me! I'm alive and well! AND We're moving RIGHT down the street so you can check as oftenly as you'd like!" She said with a smile. I gave her a tight hug. "Thank you." I said. "There's no need to thank me. Its my pleasure." And with that Bridget and I joined the others to watch football.
The girls were all playing with the blocks table. "My blocks Bu-leww!" Gracie said shaking her block. "Mine is Gu-ween!" Said Megan happily eyeing her block. "My block is Blue Too!" Bethany said laughing. They seemed to fit together like a perfect puzzle.
Whether or not the Llamas made the winning touchdown we would never know. The tv box went out right as somebody was either about to tackle the receiver or miss. "What the-" "Come On!" "Your tvs a piece of-" "Well that ruined the day!" Were all shouted at once. "Guys calm down!" Although nobody listened to my request I got up anyway.
I tried to fix the television, but I only made it produce a high pitched squeal. I turned it off and spun around. To my amazement nobody was sitting on the couch anymore.
I went outside to find Bridget and Spencer playing on the slip and slide. Even though it was only 70 degrees, and at the end of November.
Diana and Sarah were jumping on the trampoline, laughing.
The girls were taking a stroll together.
And Fredward and Jon were playing catch.
The day was coming to a quick end. Diana approached me and told me they ought to get going, it would be a long drive. "You can stay if you want." I assured her. "Oh its fine, listen, call us anytime kay?" She said pulling me into a hug. "Alright." I whispered.
"Come on Sarah!" Diana shouted and Sarah bounced off the trampoline. She threw me a peace sign. "No I want a real goodbye!" I told her. "Oh fine, somebody doesn't want any peace!" Sarah said with a laugh.
She pulled me into a hug. "See ya later sis." She said quietly. "See ya later." I replied.
"Well I guess we should follow suite, Bethany fell asleep on Spences' shoulder." She said motioning towards them. "Thanks for the invite, and remember just down the street, two houses down!" She said happily. "I won't forget, and don't be shy you and Bethany can visit whenever, Spencer too. I think Bethany, Megan, and Gracie really like each other!" I told her. "Yeah, we'll be sure to." "Bye Bye." "Bye!"
In the morning I woke from another dream, but to my doorbell. I got dressed and flew down the stairs. "H- Hello!" I said happily as I answered to a rather red man. "Hello there." He said with a smile.
"I am Rube Goldbird, I am indeed a challenge father, quite sure you knew that though. Anyways do you accept?" He asked. "Hmm why do you think I should accept?" I asked with a smile. "Well I do match your outfit. "Haha, sold."
We quickly got to business. And before I knew it I heard the jingle. ^_^ Forties here we come!
I do have to admit. I tend to chose a favorite. But I can't help it when they're so cute. Megan was sitting on the ground while Gracie was playing with all of the toys, refusing Megan to play with them too. So, I scooped her up. "Oh no! Megan! It's the claw!! Its going to get you!" I said raising 'the claw' into the air. "Oh no! No Claw!" Megan giggled.
I tickled her until she couldn't stop laughing. "Bad claw!" She said through a giggle.
Jumanji was no longer the clueless little kitten. He was now an adventurous cat.
Just because I picked favorites didn't mean my mother didn't. She truly cherished Gracie, well I guess thats because they're almost both exactly alike.
I was trying to make the fireplace fireproof, but my attempt failed and the stone machinery burst into flames, an ember leapt on the carpet and started another fire. I put it out, nobody was injured, and started again.
This time however it did work. Now we wouldn't have to fear fires coming from our fireplace.
Jons condition was getting worse day by day. Finally I decided to take him out into the public world to let him get some fresh air.
I decided we should go down to the river to go fishing. He didn't object so we set off. When we got there the baby indicated that it was in me with a single and tiny kick. "Can we fish?" Jon asked pointing to a tackle shop. "Yeah, we can fish."
So I forked up one-hundred dollars so the two of us had bait and fishing poles to fish. We spent the entire afternoon out, talking about things that we wouldn't normally discuss. He didn't have a single episode the entire day. Even though the doctor would say it was his medicine at works, I think it was the fact that he was comfortable.
I finally got to chat with Matthew two days after thanksgiving.
Caitlin is online.
Matthew is online.
C:Hi! Happy Thanksgiving! How're you doin?
M:Pretty good. You too! How are you?
C:Same old same old.
M:I want to tell y-
We're sorry chat is experiencing problems right now. Please try again later.
I stared at the screen in amazement. Chat had never had problems before. I pushed all the bad thoughts out of my head. "I'll try again later." I told myself. I stretched, causing my back to shoot with extreme pain. "Thanks" I muttered refering to my belly,

To get my mind off things I decided to paint. I didn't know what or why but I just started painting away. I got bored extremely fast and turned my attention towards the television that I had fixed earlier.
I turned the channel to Halls of History and sat through an hour documentary on how peanut butter is made.
Jumanji refused to shut-up, a bug was in the house that was driving him nuts. So I got out an old lazer pointer and began playing with him. "Get it Jumanji!!" I encouraged. My mother walked away snickering.
Jumanji eventually decided he had caught the 'bug' and started to bite the ground. "No Jumanji!" I said as bits of carpet were being taken out. I turned off the lazer pointer and Jumanji sinstantly stopped.
I could hear a distinct thunk thunk sound and I turned around to see Gracie hitting Megan on the head with a doll. Megan just sat there taking it. "Gracie!" I shouted a bit louder than I wanted to. "Do not hit your sister!" I shouted again. I ran over and picked Megan up and took the doll away. Megan whispered in my ear. "Thank you mama." I set her back down by the teddy bear as a sharp pain ripped up my back.
As I predicted, I went into labor. The pains were horrible, and I refused to go to the hospital. My reputation hasn't been ruined yet.
I finally gave birth to a little girl. I walked up the steps to take her to the nursery when the pains started again.
In the nursery I gave birth to another baby. This time however, it was a boy. My first multigendered twins!
Welcome to the world Tobi! Baby 40!!!
